Sugar & Spice!
Sugar and spice and everything nice... that's what these 3 amazing women are made of! Won't you come join, Danielle Daniel, Juliette Crane, and Mindy Lacefield, for the most wonderful of retreats on June 5 through the 9th, in beautiful Port Townsend, Washington?!
Over the space of 3 days of classes set in that lovely building pictured above (the one literally ON the water!) we will dive into and explore our inner selves, as we CREATE with wild abandon. You will spend a day with each of the lovely women, painting, journaling, laughing, just breathing and being, making new friends and catching up with old, dancing to your inner drum, and exploring this fabulous little town! Each one of the wonderful teachers has a passion from her soul to create, and to encourage others to do so, to tap into that little girl in all of us, to look deeper, and create the beauty that is us!
What's that? You'd love to come? You want to know the details? Oh okay then let's do that! First off here's a bit about each teacher and class. Just click on the image of their work (or their name) to hear all the details!
And now the rest of all those lovely details!
These 6 hour sessions will be broken up with a lunch catered by the renowned Arran Stark, who resides in PT with his amazing family, and creates his art using fresh local ingredients and whole lotta love and skill! Everyone is going to want to sign-up for a cooking retreat after his delicious lunches! Snacks and coffee, as well as maybe an adult beverage or two, will be provided through-out the day, also all locally sourced… because let’s be honest we have some crazy good food in this town!
Evening activities will include the following (star next to the ones included in zee package):
· Opening Night on Wednesday: Champagne, Speeches and a surprise or 7!*
· Thursday Night: Q&A with The ladies curated by Anna at The Cellar Door
· Friday Night: Treasure Hunt through Port Townsend*
· Saturday: Show and Tell* and Dancing! Dancing venue TBA
So as you can see, well we are going to have fun! The way we see it, Port Townsend has long been a bunch of trouble makers and free-spirits, and don’t you all just fit right on in!
registration will be June 5th, with an evening reception and party!
The location of the actual retreat will be at the historic Clam Cannery in the heart of downtown Port Townsend, located at 111 Quincy St. is a former clam cannery that sits over the water over the P.T. bay. It was turned into condos and now is a private residence for an amazing couple and their wonderful Great Dane, Eric. The downstairs portion is wide open spaces that sit ON (and we mean ON) the water, with decks going around them, an area to gather, and a full catering kitchen… oh and the view ain’t half bad! To get here, you would want to fly into Seattle, and either grab a shuttle to Bainbridge Ferry (where we can pick you up, please message us immediately so we can begin coordinating group pick-ups!) or rent a car so you can tool around for a few days! From the Bainbridge Ferry we are around and hour and ten minutes up the peninsula, sitting on the most North-Eastern Point of the Olympic Peninsula, even if the sun never shines, this place is just spectacular. Our Victorian Town is full of charm and spice, hard working people and free minded souls, you see it everywhere you turn!
The pricing for this retreat is $680 and this includes 3 days of workshops where you will spend one day each with Mindy, Juliette, and Danielle, all lunches and continental breakfast, the starred evening activities (or parts of other non-starred activities), locally sourced snacks and beverages through-out the day, adult bevies later in the day, a swag bag, and maybe a little special something-something or two!
Registration is open, well, now! You may register at anytime and for our smaller retreats such as this it’s sort of like a buffet, first come, first serve. Our deadline for fully paid balance is February 23, 2013, and our refund guidelines are written in the registration form, so go ahead and fill that out… cause you know you want to! If you would like to hold your spot, please call us at 360.774.6574 to place your deposit and secure your spot at this wonderful retreat!

If you are traveling with a group of gals that want a house or condo to stay in, please send us an email as we do have those “connections” (just call us the PT Mafia!), okay it’s a small town and we all know each other, but a gal can dream can’t she?!
Here’s our top recommendations and why as to wonderful places to stay, and all with-in 8 blocks of the Clam Cannery:
The Old Consulate Inn (it’s a Victorian Inn owned by Steampunk friends of ours!)
The Palace Hotel (it’s a former brothel…enough said!)
The Bishop or Swan (Victorian Charm and so many sizes for groups!)
There are many other accommodations around town, within walking and driving distance and we are happy to suggest to you personally for any needs you have, if it’s a large group looking for a house, or if you have any special needs, just shoot us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
